Developing a quality framework for general practice in Scotland

This report is the outcome of a joint project between the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland and sets out a framework for improving quality of care in Scottish General Practice.

The framework describes existing quality improvement activities within general practice in Scotland, determines where gaps currently are, and outlines recommendations and activities to be undertaken by a number of responsible bodies including Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
